PRESENT TENSE OF REGULAR -AR VERBS IN SPANISH

LISTEN

The present tense is used to talk about what you are doing now:

Yo hablo a los estudiantes          I talk to the students

It is also used to describe what you plan to do in the immediate future:

Yo hablo a los estudiantes esta noche          I'll talk to the students this evening

To form the present tense, you drop the -AR of the infinitive form and add the appropriate endings for each person. Using the right ending on a verb is very important.

PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE ENDINGS!!!
