VERBS IN SPANISH

All verbs or action words in Spanish belong to one of three categories: -AR, -ER, or -IR verbs.

These categories depend on the endings of the verbs in their infinitive form.

The infinitive is the basic form of the verb that you find in the dictionary.

In english, you can identify infinitives because they usually have the word to in front of them. Ex: to study.
